The "Sunrise Series", a series the artist began in January 2016. She would wake up to watch the sunrise then return to her studio to paint what she had just witnessed. The colors she chose were inspired by the Pantone color of the year Rose Quartz and Serenity. For the first time, there were two colors chosen and she wanted to highlight this in her art.
